Background
NIS is a Regina-based, employee-owned company specializing in the installation of underground water and sewer infrastructure. Founded in 1975, NIS brings over 50 years of proven experience delivering reliable, high-quality underground construction solutions. The company’s roots extend even further, tracing back more than a decade earlier to its predecessor, Northern Industrial Structures Ltd., establishing a legacy of expertise and trust that spans nearly 60 years.
Our Company
Over the past 40 years, NIS has installed approximately 70% of all underground water and sewer piping in new Regina subdivisions, making us a trusted leader in the region’s underground infrastructure. We bring extensive experience in urban infrastructure upgrades and have successfully completed numerous projects throughout the City of Regina, including large-diameter piping, water supply and trunk mains, and large-diameter sewer force mains. With more than 50 years of direct experience working for the City of Regina, NIS has built a strong reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and quality workmanship.
